Guardian 1.0 - Sg. Udang project

The whole project spans from August 2016 till November 2016, with the support from Khind Starfish Foundation under their 'Project of Happiness' programme. Led by Prof. Khoo Kiak Uei, students from UPM did their Teochew dialect and local history research in Sg. Udang, Nibong Tebal. The group collaborated with me to come up with art direction and we discussed about curating the whole exhibition together. Thanks a lot to the support from villagers in Sg. Udang and board of directors in SJK(C) Yok Eng. The exhibition was held in SJK(C) Yok Eng from 20th Nov 2016 - 26th Nov 2016.
As most of the villagers are Teochew Chinese, we did the whole exhibition in Chinese language.
The whole exhibition were divided into 5 parts, which includes :
- History of the school
- Temple
- Folk Song
- Local History
- Fishery
